[06/21/02]Carla Latham scored 14 points and Warren Central erased a 6-point halftime deficit to beat Southeast Lauderdale, 60-56, on Thursday at the State Games in Meridian.

The Lady Vikes will play Oak Grove today at 6 p.m.

Dorothy Jenkins and Ebon Williams each added 10 and Cookie Johnson scored eight in the win.

“We jumped on them early 10-1, but they went up by 12 late in the first half,” WC coach Donny Fuller said. “We played much better in the second half.”

Warren Central outscored Southeast 38-28 in the second half.
