JOHNNY BOSLEY

Services for Johnny Bosley will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. F.W. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Bosley died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at Trace Haven Nursing Home. He was 84.

He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Bosley.

He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, James and Delora Bosley of Vicksburg; and a sister, Lillie Lee Lawyer of Jackson.

EMMA LEE JONES

Emma Lee Jones died Thursday, July 11, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 52.

Mrs. Jones was a school cafeteria cook.

She is survived by her husband, Willie C. Williams, of Vicksburg; three sons, Michael C. Jones, Steven L. Jones and Christopher C. Jones, all of Vicksburg; and four daughters, Shirley Ann Washington, Stephanie Jones White and Brandy R. Jones, all of Vicksburg, and Jackie L. Washington of Utica.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oak Chapel M.B. Church in Bovina. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 until 8 p.m. Friday at Lakeover Funeral Home in Jackson.

JACQUELINE JONES

Jacqueline Jones died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 49.

Mrs. Jones was a former employee of the Old Southern Tea Room and Anderson-Tully Company. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Carter and Gladys Moore Thompson; and a brother, Norris Jones Sr.

She is survived by a daughter, Nicole McGloster of Vicksburg; her brother, James Dillard “Rat” Jones; three granddaughters, Jalisa McGloster, Jaclyn Miller and Cornesia Horton, all of Vicksburg; and other relatives.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.

ROSIE DELORES MARSH

OAKLAND, Calif. Services for Rosie Delores Marsh, a former resident of Vicksburg, will be at 11 a.m Saturday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Marsh died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at her home in Oakland, Calif. She was 55.

Mrs. Marsh was a member of Mount Pilgrim M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Marsh; her father, Isaac Randle; her mother, Mary Williams Randle; a brother, John A. Jackson; her stepbrother, Leroy Kimble; and her maternal grandparents, Ed Williams and Emma Williams.

She is survived by her son, Derrick Marsh of Vicksburg; her daughter, Pamela Marsh of Oakland; three brothers, Steve Randle and Lawrence Randle, both of Vicksburg, and James E. Jackson of Chicago; five sisters, Marie Phelps and Mary Wilson, both of Vicksburg, Tillie Doris of Shorewood, Ill., Dorothy Randle of Champaign, Ill. and Mavies Randle of Dime Box, Ill; and other relatives, including Walter Johnson, Emma Williams and Gracie Walker, both of Vicksburg, and Idelia Williams and Bennie Williams, both of Chicago.

ESSIE D. BRACEY MORGAN

Services for Essie D. Bracey Morgan will be at noon Saturday at Cool Spring M.B. Church with the Rev. Bryan Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Morgan died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 74.

She was born in Vicksburg and was retired from Marcus Furniture. She was a member of Cool Springs M.B. Church, the Heroines of Jericho, the Willing Workers Club, the Cool Springs Burial Society and the Cool Springs Usher Board, of which she was a past treasurer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lee Morgan; her parents, Henry Bracey and Nettie Bracey; four brothers, John Bracey, Henry Bracey, Haywood Bracey and Joe Bracey; and one sister, Easter B. Williams.

She is survived by two sons, Casey Lee Morgan of Vicksburg and Grady Lee Morgan Jr. of Riverside, Calif.; two sisters, Lucille Bracey and Nettie Bracey, both of Vicksburg; and six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

CHARLES CURBY WHITE SR.

Services for Charles Curby White Sr. will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Fisher Funeral Home with Bert Bryant, assistant pastor of New Vision Family Worship Center, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. White died Monday, July 15, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. He was 67.

He was a native of Parkin, Ark., and had lived in Vicksburg for 50 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served as a tin smith for 45 years and retired from Contract Services of Vicksburg. He was a member of New Vision Family Worship Center.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet T. Barnes White; and his parents, Charles Thomas and Mary Edna Smith Seale White.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Marie Richardson and Vickie Lee Crutchfield, both of Vicksburg; his son, Charles Curby White Jr. of Lafayette, La.; two stepsons, Jimmy David Burton of Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Johnny Ray Burton of Vicksburg; his brother, James Edward White of Bay St. Louis; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tracey Walker, Glenn Steen, Robbie Love, Mark Steen, Frank Wood and Tim Wood.

NELL DENT McREYNOLDS

HOUSTON, Texas Nell Dent McReynolds died Wednesday, July 17, 2002, in Houston, Texas. She was 75.

Mrs. McReynolds was born in Lorman. She had lived in Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, Venezuela, Colombia, Australia, England and Norway before moving to Houston.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Preston S. “Pete” McReynolds of Houston; two daughters, Brenda N. Taylor of Tampa, Fla., and Terri J. Brunner of San Antonio; her son, Michael S. McReynolds of Dallas; two sisters, Laura Mae Ellis and Camille Brooks, both of Lorman; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at Memorial Oaks funeral Home in Houston. Burial will follow at Memorial Oaks Mausoleum in Houston.
