Traffic on Interstate 20 West is stalled Monday evening after an 18-wheeler jack-knifed east of Indiana Avenue. All lanes of the interstate were closed intermittently for about three hours while the wreckage was cleared and about 200 gallons of spilled diesel fuel was cleaned up. Sgt. Adarryll Dent, investigating officer, said the driver, Marco Salinas of Santa Fe, N.M., said he was headed east when the loaded trailer began fishtailing and threw the truck out of control. It then fishtailed into the median. Enrique Salinas, Marco Salinas’ brother, was asleep in the sleeper compartment and suffered lacerations. He and another passenger, Claudio Salinas, were taken to River Region Medical Center where they were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said. No citations were issued. (The Vicksburg Post/C.
