LOIS HATTON BUSH
BLAINE, Miss. Lois Hatton Bush died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson. She was 85.
Mrs. Bush was a graduate of Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans. She was a member of First Families of Mississippi, Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames and Blaine Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jasper Bush Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Janice Bush Vinning of Lafayette, La.; a son, Dr. Albert Jasper Bush III of Vicksburg; two sisters, Jane Hatton Smith of Van Nuys, Calif., and Ann Hatton Hairston of Athens, Ga.; one brother, Boyd Hatton of Bassfield; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Blaine Community Church. Burial will follow at Indianola City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Card Funeral Home in Indianola.
Memorials may be made to Blaine Community Church or a favorite charity.
RUBY TOLISE CAUDLE
PIONEER, La. Ruby Tolise Caudle died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002, at Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe. She was 87.
Mrs. Caudle was born in Hickory Ridge, Ark., to the late Frank and Pearlie Mae Elgin. She was a resident of Pioneer, La.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Caudle.
Survivors include six sons, Albert Caudle of Pioneer, Jessie Leroy Caudle of Shreveport, Archie Ray Caudle of Monroe, Charles Dennis Caudle of Mer Rouge, La., Roger Earl Caudle of Ceres, Calif., and Ruben Harold Caudle of Searcy, Ark.; four daughters, Alma Lou Reppond and Daisy Ellen Nash, both of Delhi, Frieda Irene Taylor of Monroe and Effie Mae Dobson of Ferriday, La.; one sister, Sarah Jane Ford of Modesto, Calif.; and 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pioneer Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Annie Mae Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Epps Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the service at the church.
FLORA BELL HEARN
Flora Bell Hearn died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at Yalobusha County Hospital in Water Valley. She was 83.
A native of Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Willie Mozingo Hearn. She moved to Water Valley in 1996. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of God.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Hearn was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Bruce Tyler, Wanda Tyler and Peggy Tyler.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Tyler of Water Valley; a brother, Jack Hearn of Vicksburg; three grandchildren, Kathy Moore of Falkner, Becky Way of Water Valley and Judy Weber of Norco, La.; and 12 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Aven and Hank Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Mike Carr, Mark Green, Pete Hearn, Jackie Hearn, James Hearn and John McBroome Jr.
SEA BELL JOHNSON
Sea Bell Johnson died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Rankin Medical Center. She was 88.
Mrs. Johnson was a resident of Crossgates Manor Nursing Home in Brandon. Formerly of Vicksburg, she was a member of Mount Shiloh M.B. Church where she was on the Mother Board.
She is survived by a goddaughter, Laura Grayson of Jackson, and other relatives.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sand Hill M.B. Church in Edwards. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the service at the church.
