RAE NELL MASSAD SCOTT

MEMPHIS Rae Nell Massad Scott died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2002, at her home in Memphis. She was 63.

Mrs. Scott was a former Vicksburg resident. She was a real estate broker for 15 years, a member of the Circle of Excellence and the Multi-Million Dollar Club.

Survivors include a son, Michael W. Scott of Millington, Tenn.; a brother, Wayne A. Massad of Millington; a grandson, Ryan Scott of Millington; and other relatives.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memphis Funeral Home, Germantown Parkway. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude-David S. Scott memorial.

EUGENE SMITH

Services for Eugene Smith will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Robbins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James L. Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be all day today at the funeral home chapel and until the service Thursday.

Mr. Smith died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. He was 72.

A native of Gainesville, Fla., Mr. Smith was a longtime resident of Vicksburg and a retired custodian for Waterways Experiment Station. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and the Masons, Sunshine Lodge.

He is survived by Bertha Lee Russell; two children; four sisters; a brother; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and other relatives.

X.L. WILLIAMS

HOCKLEY, TEXAS X.L. Williams died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was 80.

Mrs. Williams lived in Hockley, Texas, and was a former Delhi resident.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Williams; her parents, Monroe and Evie Gilcrease; and a grandson, Mike Davis.

Survivors include five daughters, Glenda Stone of Conroe, Texas, Debra Davis of New Orleans, Darlene Williams and Charlene Williams, both of Hockley, and Lynne Williams of Houston, Texas; a brother, Rcell Gilcrease of Winnsboro, La.; and other relatives.

Services will be at 2 today at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Delhi with the Rev. Pat Loftin officiating. Burial will follow at Delhi Masonic Cemetery.

Visitation will be until the service today at the funeral home.
