[11/13/02]Tickets go on sale today for the Vicksburg High and Warren Central playoff games on Friday.

Tickets will be $5 if bought in advance and $7 at the gate and can be bought at either of the high schools or the athletic department office on Mission 66.

Also, the Mississippi High School Activities Association said that all games in the first three rounds of the state playoffs will be played at 7 p.m. instead of the normal starting time of 7:30.

Vicksburg (8-3) will host Horn Lake (9-2) at Memorial Stadium.

The Gators are fresh off a 27-12 win over rival Warren Central and are looking to make a repeat appearance in the North State championship.

Warren Central (7-4), losers of three straight games, will travel to Starkville (9-2) in a repeat of last year’s second-round matchup.

Starkville beat Warren Central last year and went on to win the Class 5A state championship.

Tickets for St. Aloysius’ game against Puckett are on sale at the school until Friday. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.
