ALBERT HARRIS
Albert Harris died Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. He was 66.
Mr. Harris was a retired maintenance worker from the Vicksburg-Warren School District, where he worked for 33 years. He was a member of Rock of Ages Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will Sr. and Mildred Beatrice Griffin Harris; a stepfather, Joseph Bradford; and two brothers, Arthur Harris and Frank Scott.
Survivors include his wife, Ora L. Anderson of Vicksburg; three sons, Albert Harris Jr. of Greenville and Christopher Harris and Jeffery Harris, both of Vicksburg; two stepsons, James Anderson Jr. and Larry D. Anderson of Winslow, Ariz.; three daughters, Rosetta Anderson Reed of Vicksburg, Emily A. Lee of Largo, Fla., and Brenda Beamon Garrett of Winston, Ariz.; a brother, Will Harris of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives including the Foster, Griffin and Daniels families of Vicksburg.
Williams Funeral Service has charge of arrangements.
BEATRICE TURNER GREEN
Beatrice Turner Green died Friday Nov. 22, 2002, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 66.
Mrs. Green was a member of Mt. Carmel M.B. Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Thomas Sr.; a sister, Nellie Mae Alexander; and a brother, Joseph Thomas Jr.
Survivors include her husband, John Green of Vicksburg, three sons, Robert Lee Turner and James L. Turner, both of Kenosha, Wis., and Horace Turner Jr. of Vicksburg; five daughters, Tressie Mitchell of Kenosha, Bobby Jean Turner of Racine, Wis., Joyce M. Wright of Ft. Campbell, Ky., Doretha Johnson and Dorothy Mae Turner, both of Vicksburg; her mother, Rosie Thomas of Hayti, Mo.; two brothers, James Willie Thomas of Hayti and Roosevelt Thomas of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Tressie Lee Foster of Columbus, Mo., and Vatter Johnson and Verlena Noel of Memphis; and numerous grandchildren.
