ROLLING FORK Jessie Bell Sr. died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital in Rolling Fork. He was 83.

He is survived by his wife, Deloris Bell of Rolling Fork; seven sons, Calvin Fung, Ronnie Fung, Robert Jones and Lynndale Bell, all of Rolling Fork, Donald Fung of Houston, Texas, Jessie Bell Jr. of Chicago and George Steen of Kansas City, Kan.; 18 daughters, Charlestine Ash, Charles Ann Chriss, Roberta Brooks, Ruthie Mae Colding and Ruby Jewell Steen, all of Kansas City, Annie Doss and Dorothy Bell, both of Chicago, Brenda Bell, Mary Ann Jones, Erica Bell and Lottie London, all of Rolling Fork, Delores Chism, Catina Bell and Laddie Bell, all of Greenville, Beatrice Bell of Vicksburg, Patricia Mack of Jackson, Cathy Lewis of Memphis and Annie Fung of Columbus, Ga.; a sister, Ethel Carson of Vicksburg; and 89 grandchildren and 101 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Sunday at South Delta High School auditorium with Reginald Brown Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Section Cemetery in Anguilla.

Visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Saturday at the Church of God in Rolling Fork.

Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork has charge of arrangements.

Kathleen Hastings Bonelli

WINONA Kathleen Hastings Bonelli died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at her daughter’s home in Winona. She was 84.

A graduate of Port Gibson High School, Mrs. Bonelli was a former member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Vicksburg. She was a communicant of St. Richard’s Catholic Church in Jackson and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Winona. She served as eucharistic minister of St. Richard’s and Sacred Heart churches.

Mrs. Bonelli was a charter member of the 20 Club of Vicksburg. She was former president of the PTA and and a former band booster at St. Aloysius High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Bonelli Jr., and a son, John Patrick Bonelli.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Colclasure of Marietta, Ga., and Barbara Ann Johnson of Winona; two sons, Joe Bonelli and John Martin Bonelli, both of Jackson; and nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight and from 10 a.m. Saturday until Mass at the church.

Sandra Ann Belbas Croisdale

Sandra Ann Belbas Croisdale died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. She was 58.

Mrs. Croisdale was a native of Niagara Falls, N.Y. She lived in North Tonawanda, N.Y., for a number of years and had lived in Shelbyville, Tenn., for 13 years before moving to Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Belbas, and a brother, Edward Belbas.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Croisdale Sr. of Vicksburg; three daughters, Kimberly Milani of Lockport, N.Y., Cynthia Andolina of North Tonawanda and Cassandra Croisdale of Vicksburg; one son, Robert Croisdale Jr. of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Robert Belbas of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Dorothy Stasiak of Niagara Falls and Arlene Wilvers of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Prayer services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. P.J. Curley officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 1 until 4 p.m. and from 6 until 8:30 p.m. Sunday with prayers at 7:30.

Glenn Davidson

VALLEY PARK Services for Glenn “Jack” Davidson will be at 2 p.m. today at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg with the Rev. Kent Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. today until the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Davidson died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was 72.

Born in Benoit, Miss., Mr. Davidson was a longtime resident of Valley Park. He retired as manager of the Valley Park Elevator.

He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Edith S. Davidson of Valley Park; one son, Glenn Jackson Davidson of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; two daughters, Melanie Dahl and Beth Mitchell, both of Vicksburg; a brother, W.L. Davidson of Greenville; five sisters, Thelma Hague of Greenville, Pauline Blythe of Keller, Texas, Mary Jane Porter of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Halovie Perchon of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Juanita Luckie of Stuttgart, Ark.; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Wansley, Wynn Johnson, Bobby Braxton, Ted Frisbee, J.B. Middleton and Larry Whitten.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Johnson, Ralph Frisbee, William Thigpen, Lynn Braxton and Clyde McKinney.

Bettie Mae Reed Grayson

FAYETTE Bettie Mae Reed Grayson died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, at Natchez Regional Hospital. She was 85.

A resident of Fayette, Mrs. Grayson was a graduate of Alcorn State University. She was a retired teacher with the Jefferson County Public School District. She was a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Grayson; her parents, Norrice and Jeanette Reed; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include four sons, Coley Grayson and Windell Grayson, both of New Orleans and Charles Grayson and Irvin Grayson, both of Fayette; six daughters, Marva Dean, Helen Bridges, Eva Johnson, Bettye Wolfe and Patricia Grayson, all of Fayette and Shirley Williams of East Orange, N.J.; three brothers, Dewitt Reed, Bernard Reed and Norrice Reed, all of New Orleans; two sisters, Dorothy Clark of Fayette and Myrtle Chambliss of Baton Rouge, La.; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Fayette with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until 6 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Wendell Grayson Jr., Corey Grayson, Antoine Reed, Milton Wingate Jr., Glenn Chambliss, Martel Johnson, Harry Reed and Roscoe Chambliss.

Honorary pallbearers will be Coley Grayson, Windell Grayson, Charles Grayson, Irvin Grayson, Donald Terry Reed, Dewitt Reed, Bernard Reed and Norrice Reed.
