The winner of Tuesday’s game will advance to the division championship on Friday and guarantee a spot in a satellite game the following week.

“I’d just as soon play the first game,” Vicksburg girls coach Mike Coleman said. “If you win, you can stay around and scout and if you lose, it’s time to get on the bus and head home,”

The top-seeded Vicksburg Gators will play host Natchez in the first boys game at 5:30 p.m., followed by Natchez’s girls against Clinton, and Warren Central’s boys against Clinton.

St. Aloysius, which will host the Division 7-1A Tournament also on Tuesday, was to have its brackets filled out Saturday afternoon, Flashes coach Paul Hayden said.
