Azeline Watson Jackson
Services for Azeline Watson Jackson will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home.
Ms. Jackson died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. She was 84.
Ms. Jackson was born in Delta, La., and was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. She was a retired dry cleaner. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Johnson; her parents, Johnnie Watson and Mary Ella Johnson; six sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include one son, Louis M. Jackson of Manassas, Va., three brothers, Joseph Garner and Harvey Garner, both of Chicago, and Willie Garner of Leesville, La.; one sister, Ida Shields of Chicago; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and other relatives, including Mary Louise Bacon of Merrillville, Ind.
Sandra Ann Belbas Croisdale
A funeral Mass for Sandra Ann Belbas Croisdale was at 11 a.m. today at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. P.J. Curley officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Park.
Mrs. Croisdale died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. She was 58.
Mrs. Croisdale was a native of Niagara Falls, N.Y. She lived in North Tonawanda, N.Y., for a number of years and had lived in Shelbyville, Tenn., for 13 years before making her home in Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Belbas, and a brother, Edward Belbas.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert Croisdale Sr. of Vicksburg; three daughters, Kimberly Milani of Lockport, N.Y., Cynthia Andolina of North Tonawanda and Cassandra Croisdale of Vicksburg; one son, Robert Croisdale Jr. of Nashville; a brother, Robert Belbas of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Dorothy Stasiak of Niagara Falls and Arlene Wilvers of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Mark Buys, Charles Caldwell, Tony Collins, Larry Gawronski, Hiroyuki Ishikawa, Mike Layne, Eric Roper and J.D. Turner.

Ellen Roberta Brady Lovelady
HEBERT, La. Ellen Roberta Brady Lovelady, a former Vicksburg resident, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003. She was 81.
Mrs. Lovelady was born in Baskin, La.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rachael and Bart Stephenson; two brothers, Carroll Brady and Milton Stephenson; and two grandchildren, LeeAnn Waltrop and Troy Dean Waltrop.
She is survived by her husband, G.B. “Punk” Lovelady Jr. of Hebert, La.; three daughters, Bertha Kanarainen of Hawkins, Texas, and Rita Fuller and Kay Bowlin, both of West Monroe; three sons, Gil Lovelady and Scott Lovelady, both of Columbia, La., and Dwight Lovelady of Hebert; a brother, Fletcher Stephenson of Crossett, Ark.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bethany Baptist Church in Hebert with the Revs. J.B. Bell and James Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dee Lovelady, Kyle Whitehead, Brad Tullos, Gil Lovelady, Robert Washam, Ruff Tullos, Billy Joe Poole and Terry Lovelady.
Honorary pallbearers will be Whoop Grady, Drew Lovelady, Robert Grady, Coy Gen Waltrop and Michael Lovelady.
George Phillips Sr.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Services for George Phillips Sr. will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with Trent Phillips and Thalia Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Tuesday until the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Phillips died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at his home in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was 99.
Mr. Phillips was a retired auto mechanic in Vicksburg and served in the Army during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Lucille Griffin Phillips and Pearlean Rush Phillips; his parents, Wilson and Rosetta Case Phillips; and a brother, Willie Phillips.
Survivors include a son, George Phillips Jr. of Colorado Springs; a sister, Marlinda Brayer; a stepdaughter, Mozell Roseburrow of Colorado Springs; four grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
Rosa Sanchez Poland
OAK GROVE Rosa Sanchez Poland died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at West Carroll Care Center in Oak Grove. She was 90.
Mrs. Poland was born in Campti, La.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Liza Parker Trichel, and her husband, Sylvester Sanchez.
Survivors include five sons, Jim Sanchez of Oak Grove, Julius Sanchez of Kilgore, Texas, Sylvester Sanchez of Cleveland, Texas, Charles Sanchez of Lafayette, La., and John Melton Sanchez of Franklin, La.; two daughters, Doris Kavalir and Mary Jo Owens, both of Oak Grove; and 23 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Zacharias Prakuzhy officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be today and Tuesday until the service at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove with rosary at 7 tonight.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
