[3/5/03]Warren Central scored a pair of runs in the fourth inning to take the lead against West Ouachita in a 4-1 Lady Vikes’ win.

Ashley Chaney had two of the Lady Vikes’ four hits and Keisha Blue had a two-RBI double in the third.

Hayley Martin had an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth inning and Katie Barnett’s RBI single in the bottom of the fifth gave WC a 4-1 lead.

Lauren Anderson pitched a complete game and struck out seven.

WC will play at Vicksburg on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

St. Aloysius 4, St. Andrew’s 1

Laura Beth Lyons struck out 14 in a complete-game one-hitter, and Kelly Haden went 2-for-3 with an RBI triple as St. Aloysius won in the season-opener for both teams.

Candice Park, Caitlin Moak, and Stephanie Evans each had an RBI for St. Al, and Sarah Kerut singled and scored a run during a two-run first inning for St. Al.
