Anna Inee Barron

OAK GROVE, La. Anna Inee Barron died Friday, March 14, 2003, at North Monroe Hospital in Monroe, La. She was 89.

Mrs. Barron was born in Many, La., and lived in Oak Grove.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Franklin and Laura Amy Norsworthy; two brothers, N.J. Norsworthy and George Herman Norsworthy; and one sister, Lizzie Norsworthy.

Survivors include her husband, Ben F. Barron of Oak Grove; three sons, Randall Barron of Ruston, La., David Barron of Baton Rouge and Rodney Barron of Colfax, La.; seven grandsons; three granddaughters; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Randy Barron, Dr. Steve Barron, Jeffrey Barron, Brian Barron, Chris Barron, Trent Barron and John Barron.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church Oak Grove. The Rev. Jeff Jinks will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Ruth Bell Head

OAK GROVE, La. Ruth Bell Head died Saturday, March 15, 2003, at Carroll Nursing Home. She was 90.

Mrs. Head was born in Rogers, Texas, and lived in Oak Grove.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewel Baskin Head, and her parents, Johnnie Preston and Etta Cathryn Rawlins.

Survivors include three sons, James C. Head of Oak Grove, Thomas Head of Bernice, La., and Larry Head of West Monroe, La.; one daughter, Dawana Bearden of West Monroe; one brother, the Rev. J. Dean Shaw of Many, La.; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Oak Grove with the Revs. Joe Hoover and Michi Head officiating.

Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Sarah Libbett

DETROIT Sarah Libbett died Friday, March 14, 2003. She was 93.

Mrs. Libbett was a former resident of Valley Park.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Libbett.

Survivors include one son, Dave Libbett III.
