Louis V. Luckett Jr.

Louis V. Luckett Jr. died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. He was 61.
A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Luckett was employed by the Mississippi Department of Transportation as a certified lab technician and operated Luckett’s Wood Working Shop for a number of years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a wife, Beth Griffith Luckett; and his parents, Louis V. Luckett Sr. and Wilhamina L. Luckett.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy D. Luckett of Vicksburg; two sons, Ben Luckett and Charles Luckett, both of Vicksburg; a daughter, Suzanne Luckett of Vicksburg; and a sister, Bernadette Ward of Vicksburg.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Sibley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Griffith, Andy Griffith, Richy Pennington, George Ward, Shane Rowland and Luke Mobley.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, the Mississippi Baptist Children’s Village or the American Cancer Society.
Annie Coleman Mason
CHICAGO Annie Coleman Mason died Friday, March 21, 2003, at Trinity Hospital in Chicago. She was 46.
A former resident of Rolling Fork, Mrs. Mason lived in Chicago. She worked in home day care.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Mason of Chicago; a son, Joseph Mason Jr., of Fort Campbell, Ky.; three daughters, Dedre Mason, Marilyn Mason and Elizebeth Mason, all of Chicago; three brothers, Eddie Coleman Jr., of Memphis, Lloyd Coleman of Jackson and Clyde Coleman of Rolling Fork; nine sisters, Barbara Gates, Rosetta Moore, Mildred Coleman, Janet Ford, Pinkie Coleman, Aretha Coleman, Franchester Coleman, all of Rolling Fork, Lasonya Coleman of Chicago and Cedella MacFarland of Joliet, Ill.; and one grandchild.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Mount Lula M.B. Church in Rolling Fork with Willie Dorsey officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
