The Vicksburg Post prints obituaries for residents, former residents and residents’ immediate family members who resided elsewhere when notified by a family member or a funeral home. There is no charge for printing an obituary, but all are edited to meet the newspaper’s requirements.

Daniel Feder

Daniel Feder died Sunday, June 29, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. He was 86.

A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Feder was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School. He participated in Boy Scouts and was self-employed. He was a member of Anshe Chesed Temple.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Sadie Hyman Feder; two brothers, Isidore Feder and Dr. A.J. Feder; and two sisters, Bessie F. Daniluck and Bessie Feder Cohen.

Survivors include a niece, Diane C. Lefkowitz of Pensacola, Fla.; a great-niece, Lisa Lefkowitz of Pensacola; and other relatives.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Anshe Chesed Cemetery with Richard Marcus officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home.
