{7/1/03]The Vicksburg Hurricanes 11-year-olds’ tournament team won the North Jackson Zeke Walley Tournament with five straight wins. The Hurricanes beat Forest Hill, 13-5, Madison, 16-0, and Northwest Rankin, 17-3, to earn a spot in the tournament semifinals.

In the semis, the Hurricanes beat Clinton, 12-2, then beat Meridian in the title game, 4-3.

The Hurricanes can earn a berth in the state tournament by winning two games tonight over Clinton.
