Leonard Charles Caldwell
Leonard Charles Caldwell died Friday, July 18, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. He was 60.
Mr. Caldwell was a member of Travelers Rest Baptist Church and was employed at Vicksburg Specialty Company for 36 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Caldwell, and a brother, Alexander Caldwell.
He is survived by two sons; seven daughters; five brothers, Andrew Caldwell and Eddie Caldwell, both of Kansas City, Mo., Curley Caldwell of Detroit, Mich., and Sullivan Caldwell and Matthew Caldwell, both of Vicksburg; three sisters, Thelma Bouie of New Orleans, Hattie Lewis of Fitler, Miss., and Gloria Crawford of Vicksburg; and other relatives.
Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Aron Lee McBride Lucas
WAUKEGAN, Ill. Aron Lee McBride Lucas died Tuesday, July 15, 2003, in Waukegan, Ill. She was 63.
She was retired from the Veteran Administration Hospital where she worked for years as a nurse and was an active registered member with Mason Eastern Star.
She was a member of the Jesus Name Apostolic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Renee Carman Lucas of Kenosha, Wis.; three sisters, Johnnie L. Miles of Zion, Ill., Jerry O. Williams of Jackson and Jean Hunter of Decatur, Ga.; five brothers, Ernest L. McBride of Vicksburg, Elder Richard McBride of Gurnee, Ill., the Rev. Howard McBride of Brinkley, Ariz., John McBride of California and the Rev. Eddie McBride of Jackson; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Jesus Name Apostolic Church in Waukegan, Ill., with the Rev. John Caples officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Westgate Funerals.
Henry Parker
Henry Parker died Thursday, July 17, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. He was 53.
Mr. Parker was a member of Cedar Grove M.B. Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucious Parker and Louise Williams; a brother, Steve Williams; a sister, Myrtle Williams; and his godmother, Ollie Webster.
He is survived by two sons, Justin Parker of Vicksburg and Tyrone Green of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Marquita Parker of Vicksburg; four brothers, Walter Williams, Percy Williams, Freddie Williams and Steven Williams, all of Port Gibson; five sisters, Lucille Williams, Ollie Mae Williams, Erther Levette Williams and Claudianne Parker, all of Port Gibson, and Vera Williams of Pattison; three grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
