Joe Tatum, an employee of Means House Moving, rides down Halls Ferry Road on top of a house, to prevent it from snagging utility lines during a move from near Highland Baptist Church at 3518 Halls Ferry Road to 801 Clark St. Thursday morning. The church, which owned the house, planned to demolish it, but found it less costly to give it to Mike Jennings of Glenwood Properties, who paid to have it moved.
