William H. Wooten Jr.

FLORA William H. “Bill” Wooten Jr. died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2003, as a result of an automobile accident. He was 74.

A native of Carthage, Miss., Mr. Wooten was a resident of Flora. He was an Army veteran and retired owner and operator of Wooten Auto Parts in Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Wooten.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. William H. Wooten III of Vicksburg and Michael B. Wooten of Flora; two sisters, Doris Carter of Benton, Miss., and Dot Thompson of Hernando, Miss.; a brother, Herbert Wooten of Memphis; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Natchez Trace Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
