Deloris Simpson Clavelle

Deloris “Lolo” Simpson Clavelle died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at River Region Medical Center. She was 58.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Clavelle, and her parents, Roosevelt and Jennie B. Mitchell.

She is survived by one son, George Simpson of Huntsville, Ala.; one daughter, Mitchellene Simpson of Vicksburg; four brothers, Kenny Simpson of Hephzibah, Ga., and Johnny Simpson, Sam Simpson and Joe Simpson, all of Vicksburg; four sisters, Ella Lyles, Sandra Simpson and Shirley Simpson, all of Kansas City, Mo., and Delilah Simpson of Racine, Wis.; and five grandchildren.

W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Darrell Dewayne Kemper

Services for Darrell Dewayne Kemper will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Zion No. 1 M.B. Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Williams Funeral Service today from 1 until 5 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Mr. Kemper died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003. He was 27.

He is survived by his parents, Christine Kemper Odom and Freddie Smith, both of Vicksburg; his stepfather, Larry Odom Sr. of Vicksburg; five brothers, Michael Odom, Larry Odom Jr., Darius Liggins, Freddie Turner and Chris Smith, all of Vicksburg; six sisters, LaToya Smith, Shenika Turner, Amanda Johnson, LaToya Johnson, Annie Smith and Wendy Smith, all of Vicksburg; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Warren of Vicksburg; and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Lonnie Alton Walters

PIONEER, La. Lonnie Alton Walters died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at North Monroe Hospital. He was 79.

Mr. Walters was born and lived in Pioneer, La.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Spurgeon Aaron and Laura Mae Walters.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Lois Walters; one daughter, Jennie Spencer of Clinton; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Cox Chapel in Oak Grove with the Rev. Leonard Garlington officiating. Burial will follow at New Forest Cemetery in Forest, La.

Visitation will be at the funeral home today until the service.

Pallbearers will be his nephews.
