[11/10/03]The cup is heading back to Bovina.

The golfers of Clear Creek beat an undermanned Vicksburg Country Club team 19 1/2 to 8 1/2 to win the Warren County Cup on Sunday. It marks the eighth year in a row that the home team has won the cup.

Clear Creek won the four-ball competition 5 1/2 to 1 1/2, the alternate shot competition 5-2 and the individual matches 9-5.

On Sunday, Tommy Brown, Howard Benson, John Ferguson, Pete Thompson, David Kuchman, Connie Bowman, Chad Henley and Mike Hurley won individual matches for Clear Creek.

VCC winners were: Bubba Mims, Mike Curtis, Bobby Burks and Larry Rocconi.
