Viola Parks

Kosciusko Viola Parks died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko. She was 101.

Mrs. Parks was a member of Ethel Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school class secretary, Sunday school teacher and member of WMU. She was a member of the Ethel Chapter of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie E. Parks.

Mrs. Parks is survived by her daughter, Nancy Parks Nevels of Vicksburg; her son, Charles Parks of Kosciusko; her step-son, Haywood Parks of Florence and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Ethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Stonewall Cemetery in Ethel.
