Ricey White Tucker

MONROE, La. Ricey White Tucker died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis. She was 77.
Mrs. Tucker was born in Steel, Mo., and was a resident of Monroe, La.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Jean Marsh, and her parents, Arthur Leonard and Pearl Ellen White.
She is survived by seven sons, Roy Clifton Tucker of Houston, Texas, James Stephen Tucker of Benton, La., Charles Robert Tucker of Orange, Texas, David Benjamin Tucker of Monroe, Michael Wayne Tucker of Memphis, and Timothy Mark Tucker and Joseph Tucker, both of West Monroe; three daughters, Pearl Crawford of Lafayette, La., Nancy Susan Dunn of Columbus, Ga., and Lori Ann Corbin of Memphis; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lake Providence City Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Lake Providence.
Myrtis Grayson White
LAKE PROVIDENCE Myrtis Grayson White died Monday, Nov. 10, 2003, at Shady Lake Nursing Home in Lake Providence. She was 91.
Mrs. White was born in Sicily Island, La., and was a resident of Lake Providence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Calvin White; one daughter, Jeanette C. Jackson; her parents, Holly and Ludie Grayson; four brothers, Johnny Grayson, L.G. Grayson, Ed Grayson and Mason Grayson; two sisters, Thelma Hawes and Mary Arnold; and one granddaughter, Holly Elizabeth Jackson.
Survivors include two sisters, Lucille Hodnett of West Monroe, La., and Josephine Grayson of Melville, La.; two brothers, Willie B. Grayson of Simsport, La., and Woodrow Grayson of Big Cane, La.; and five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Cox Funeral Home in Lake Providence with the Rev. Clyde Grayson officiating. Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery.
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William Paris, Bootsie Rosenzweig, Roger Shoemaker and Maple McWilliams.
