Malcolm Allred is bundled up against the cold this morning as he walks his three dogs along Walnut Street in temperatures that dropped to 26 overnight, causing a hard-freeze for the state and sending Vicksburg and Warren County residents out to cover plants and pipes. The morning low was the biggest dip so far this season. Today’s forecast calls for highs in the upper 50s with mostly sunny skies. The forecast called for temperatures overnight to be in the 40s.
