Thelma Gregory

PORT GIBSON Services for Thelma Gregory will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Port Gibson with the Rev, Eddie Walls officiating. Burial will follow in the Mercy Seat M.B. Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 until 5 p.m. today and from noon until the service Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Gregory is survived by two brothers, John Goods of Port Gibson and Aaron Goods of Magee; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Latravion Marques Heath

PORT GIBSON Latravion Marques Heath died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, of sickle cell anemia at Claiborne County Hospital. He was 23 months old.

Latravion is survived by his parents, Erica Heath and Jermaine L. Washington of Port Gibson; his maternal grandparents, Bessie Heath and Dominique Reed of Port Gibson; his paternal grandparents, Claudia Washington and Ukai Claiborne of Port Gibson; aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hermanville Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Ellis officiating.

Deborah Carlista Jackson

Deborah Carlista Jackson died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003 at her home in Vicksburg. She was 49.

Mrs. Jackson was a native of Vicksburg and was an employee of Bechtel Corp for several years.

She was a member of the New Vision Family Worship Center.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her grandson, Timothy Williamson, and her grandmother, Carlista Burrough.

She is survived by her son, Shane Williamson of Vicksburg; her mother, Patricia Sumrall of Vicksburg; two brothers, Allan Jackson of Meridian and Pat Jackson of Vicksburg; two granddaughters; and other relatives.

A private memorial service will be at a later date.

Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

James Love

James Love died Friday, Dec. 19, 2003 at River Region Medical Center. He was 63.

Mr. Love was a member of Issaquena Baptist Church in Yazoo City and was retired from G&B Battery.

He was preceded in death by his father, Estelle Love; his son, Perry Wade; and two brothers, Jimmy Love and Robert Love.

Mr. Love is survived by his mother, Georgia Mae Love of Jackson; three sons, James Wade of Jackson, Jimmy Wade and Billy Joe Wade, both of Yazoo City; his daughter, Georgia A. Love Kemp of Vicksburg; two stepdaughters, Mary Judge and Shirley Cooper, both of Vicksburg; and two brothers, Willie Love and J.D. Love, both of Jackson.

Williams Funeral Service has charge of arrangements.

Harry M. Miller

Harry M. Miller died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was 53.

Mr. Miller was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Xavier Miller, and his brother, Joseph Miller.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Miller of Waukegan, Ill.; his parents, Ceola “Gracie” Tolliver of Vicksburg and Rev. Alex and Clara Miller of Vicksburg; six daughters, Tracy Johnson Hoggatt of Conyers, Ga., Pamela Johnson Martin of Vicksburg, Melva Miller, Mary Miller, Maria Miller and Melanie Miller of Waukegan, Ill.; one son, Harry Miller Jr. of El Paso, Texas; six brothers, Albert Lewis of Saginaw, Mich., Alex Miller Jr., Tyrone Miller, Kenneth Miller and David Miller, all of Vicksburg, and Curtis Miller of Magee; five sisters, Doris Carter, Evelyn Smith, Clara Walker, Deborah Miller Carroll and Sarah Ross, all of Vicksburg; 14 grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Westhaven Funeral Home in Utica has charge of arrangements.
