Willie Mae Anderson

ROLLING FORK Willie Mae Anderson died at her home Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004. She was 68.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by six sons, Emmich Anderson of Mayersville, Jim Anderson of Greenville, James Anderson, Otis Anderson and Joseph Anderson, all of Rolling Fork, and Ronald Anderson of Anguilla; six daughters, Christi Anderson, Barbie Anderson and Margaret Anderson, all of Rolling Fork, Brenda Jackson of Anguilla, Joyce Anderson of Hopkinsville, Ky., and Lisa Divine of Hollandale; two sisters, Clara Pope of Rolling Fork and Mattie Knight of Vicksburg; 32 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren,

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Mount Lula M.B. Church in Rolling Fork. Burial will be at Green Chapel Cemetery in Rolling Fork.

Woodrow P. Cagnolatti

TALLULAH Woodrow P. “Odo” Cagnolatti died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center. He was 85.

Mr. Cagnolatti was born in St. James Parish and had lived in Tallulah for 82 years. He was a retired grain-elevator manager and a member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Vivan Emily Rabb Cagnolatti; one son, Woody Cagnolatti of Plaquemine, La.; one daughter, Connie Wilson of Tallulah; one sister, Eunice Erwin of New Orleans; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Edward’s with the Rev. Ferre D’Cruz officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Cross Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. Sunday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Mac Cagnolatti, David Cagnolatti, Dale Cagnolatti, Mike Magee, Bobby Todd and Jackie Varner.

Bobby Gene Doyle

NEWELLTON Bobby Gene Doyle died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at Glenwood Regional Hospital in West Monroe. He was 75.

Mr. Doyle was a native of Loanoke, Ark. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Newellton Union Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Gladys Doyle; a brother, Dean Doyle; a sister, Edna D. Gunter; and a son, Mike Doyle.

He is survived by his wife, Betty R. Doyle of Newellton; two sons, Alen Doyle of Newellton and Kenny Doyle of Krum, Texas; three brothers, James Doyle and Louie Doyle, both of Newellton, and Ronnie Doyle of Jackson, Miss.; two sisters, Betty Sue Pilkinton of Bossier City and Peggy Waddill of The Bluffs, La.; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Newellton Union Church with Clyde Ray Weber officiating. Burial will be at Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brian Doyle, Christopher Doyle, Mark Doyle, Morgan Doyle, David Doyle, Steve Doyle, John Salazar and David Hage.

David W. Fite

Services for David W. Fite will be at 2 today at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Steve Bryant, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Cemetery under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service in Ward Hall at the church.

Mr. Fite died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, at Aspen Inn in Parkland, Fla. He was 95.

A native of Tutwiler, Mr. Fite was the son of the late David Wallace and Courtenay Fraser Fite. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served as district manager for Social Security for a number of years.

He was a Vicksburg resident most of his life and had lived in Pembroke Pines, Fla., for the past six months. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Vicksburg where he taught Sunday school and was installed as an elder in 1955. He was a former member of the Men’s Bible Class.

Mr. Fite was also a member of the Chrysanthemum Society.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Beaudoin Fite of Pembroke Pines; a daughter, Judy Westerdahl of Pembroke Pines; a son, Ray Beach of Atlanta; and five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be David Westerdahl, Daniel Westerdahl, Peter Beach, Jonathan Beach, Erich Gaedeke and Tom Akers.

Rachel Neal

Services for Rachel Neal were at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Burial followed under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Neal died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 95.

A homemaker, Mrs. Neal was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Neal; her father, Louis Saint; a brother, Willie Saint; and her mother.

She is survived by a son, James Warren Sr. of Vancleave; 13 grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kathryn D. Miller

ROLLING FORK Kathryn D. Miller died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg. She was 79.

Mrs. Miller was a native of Delta City and had lived in Rolling Fork most of her life. She worked as a clerk in a convenience store. She was a member of the Anguilla Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John A. and Ethel Derrick; her husband, Leroy Miller Sr.; and a son, Leroy Miller Jr.

Mrs. Miller is survived by a daughter, Kathy S. Francis of Rolling Fork, and two grandchildren, Leigh Ann Brown and Christopher B. Brown, both of Rolling Fork.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Golden Link Cemetery in Anguilla with the Rev. Reese Kyzar officiating.

Glenwood Funeral Home of Rolling Fork has charge of arrangements.

Floyd Rossetti Sr.

SHAW, Miss. Services for Floyd Rossetti Sr. will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw.

Visitation will be from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday at the church with rosary to follow.

Mr. Rossetti died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. He was 89.

Born in Arcola, Mr. Rossetti was a resident of Shaw. He was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ned and Annie Rossetti; two brothers, Frank Rossetti and Lewis Rossetti; and a sister, Pauline Giachelli.

Survivors include his wife, Julia Rossetti of Shaw; two sons, Floyd Rossetti Jr. of Vicksburg and James Rossetti of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Mary Ann Haley of Vicksburg and Linda Brocato of Tampa, Fla.; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Trey Griffin, Grey Provis, Tommy Giachelli, Michael Aguizzi, Larry Cocilova and Kenneth Rossetti.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Paul Pierce, Dr. Stephen Clark and Dr. Ronald Kennedy.

Rays Funeral Home of Cleveland has charge of arrangements.
