[2/15/04]St. Aloysius was hoping a win over Mississippi School for the Deaf would propel them to a No. 3 seed and avoid a first-round matchup against Natchez Cathedral in the Division 7-1A Tournament.

The Flashes’ wish was not granted.

Because St. Al lost to West Lincoln twice, and MSD split with West Lincoln in the regular season, the Flashes will open the tournament on Tuesday against the archrival Green Wave.
