Services for Emma Johnson Williams will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant Valley M.B. Church with the Rev. Clifton Spicer officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. Thursday until the service at the church.

Mrs. Williams died Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 82.

She was retired from Redwood Elementary School, where she was a custodian. She was a member of Springfield M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Williams, and one son, Exel Daily.

She is survived by one son, Lester Williams of Vicksburg; two daughters, Bernice Haggard of Vicksburg and Johnnie Jackson of Joliet, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
