ROLLING FORK Janie M. Moore died Monday, March 22, 2004, at her home in Rolling Fork. She was 91.

A native of McComb, Miss Moore had lived in Rolling Fork for 64 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and had worked for the draft board for 16 years.

She is survived by a son, Edward “Mickey” Moore Jr. of Plano, Texas; a daughter, Grace Anna Hatcher of Rolling Fork; a sister, Anna Rutledge Alford of McComb; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Rolling Fork with the Rev. Millard Caulder officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 tonight at the funeral home.

J.W. Richardson Sr.

J.W. Richardson Sr. died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. He was 80.

A resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Richardson was a carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Richardson of Vicksburg; five sons, J.W. Richardson Jr. of Brandon and Earl Richardson, Billy Richardson, Edgar Richardson and Alan Richardson, all of Vicksburg; five daughters, Valinda Barnett and Racine Sanders, both of Greenville, S.C., Dianna Tyer of Bentonia, Miss., Frances Daffron of Vicksburg and Cindy Baham of Crystal Springs; 32 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Stricklin-King Funeral Home with the Revs. Sonny Bradshaw and Ruth Pugh officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City.

Pallbearers will be Mike Tyer, Marty Daffron, Shane Youngblood, Scott Baham, Brandon Daffron and Rusty Blackwell.
