Della S. Epstein

ST. LOUIS, Mo. Della S. Epstein died at her St. Louis, Mo., home Friday, May 7, 2004. She was 103.

Mrs. Epstein was born in New York, spent her childhood in Nashville, Tenn., and had lived in St. Louis since the 1930s.

She retired as a bookkeeper from her husband’s accounting firm.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph I. Epstein; her son, retired Lt. Col. Samuel Eppley; and her brother, Vicksburg resident Jerry Silver.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Helen Eppley; two grandsons, Samuel Eppley Jr. and Allen Eppley; and two great-grandchildren, all of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Anshe Chesed Cemetery in Vicksburg with Rabbi Deborah Kassoft officiating and Fisher Funeral Home in charge.
