Hazel O. Bedgood

TALLULAH Hazel O. Bedgood died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Olive Branch Nursing Home. She was 82.

Mrs. Bedgood was born in Navarro County, Texas, and was longtime resident of Tallulah. She was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bedgood.

Survivors include a son, Danny Bedgood of Tallulah; a daughter, Virginia Cupit of Tallulah; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with her niece, Agnes Keller, officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.

Vivian Hays

Vivian Hays died Saturday, June 12, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 56.

Born in Utica, Miss Hays had been a resident of Vicksburg for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Catina Cooper of Jackson; a brother, William L. Roland of Utica; a sister, Lynn Yates of Morton; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McClellen Cemetery in Utica. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the service at the funeral home.

Roger Keith Heigle

MAYERSVILLE Services for Roger Keith Heigle were at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Anguilla with the Rev. Brad Moak officiating. Burial followed at County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan.

Mr. Heigle died Friday, June 11, 2004. He was 41.

Born in Missouri, Mr. Heigle was a resident of Mayersville most of his life. A commercial agriculture pilot, he owned Heigle’s Flying Service and was a member of the Lake Washington Baptist Church.

Mr. Heigle was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Lee Heigle.

He is survived by his wife, Traci Kirby Heigle of Mayersville; his mother, Joann B. Simmons of Cary; his father and stepmother, Roger Loyd and Annette Heigle of Mayersville; one son, Steven Keith Heigle of Vicksburg; one daughter, Caitlin Paige Heigle of Mayersville; a brother, Brad B. Heigle of Straight Bayou; a stepbrother, Blake Moon of Mayersville; three sisters, Konny Heigle and Marlaina Heigle, both of Mayersville, and Misty Heigle Joiner of Cary.

Pallbearers were Gary Burns, Junior Boyd, Joe Taylor, Ricky Boyd, Mike Lewis and Oscar Clark.

Honorary pallbearers were Dustin Herman, Tommy Kirby, Roger Massey, Johnny Herman, Todd Heigle, Richard Jones, Tony Williams, Mike Kirby, James Hamlin, David Burke, Robert Golitz and Chris Robertson.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for Caitlin Paige Heigle at the Bank of Anguilla.

James Michael Russell

DELHI James Michael “Mike” Russell died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, in Delhi. He was 49.

Mr. Russell was born in Dixon, Miss., and was a resident of Delhi.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilmuth Jo Russell, and a brother, Jimmy Lamar Russell.

He is survived by one son, Matt Russell of Pioneer, La.; his father, the Rev. James Windell Russell of Delhi; and a niece, Angela Russell of Houston, Texas.

Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with the Rev. Steve Hillman officiating. Burial followed at Delhi Masonic Cemetery.
