Mary Jane Wells Bingham
Services for Mary Jane Wells Bingham will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rosehill Christian Church in Lorman with the Rev. Henry Williams officiating. Burial will follow at East Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bingham died Monday, July 12, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 65.
Mrs. Bingham was retired from Anderson-Tully. She was a member of St. Paul M.B. Church, where she was in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Booker T. Wells Sr. and Elizabeth Combs Wells; two brothers, Booker T. Wells Jr. and Joseph Wells Sr.; and two sisters, Martha Wells Butler and Ernestine Wells Carter.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Andrew Bingham and Louis Edward Jackson Sr.; four daughters, Bobbie Bingham Morrow, Carolyn Bingham Howard, LaShonda Patrice Bingham and Shalonda Bingham Henderson; three brothers, Alphonse Wells Sr., Curtis Wells Sr. and James Edward Wells; and three sisters, Annie Mae Wells Franklin, Nancy Lee Wells Bailey and Maple Wells Hudson.
Geneva Lucille Donahue
Geneva Lucille Donahue died Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 91.
Mrs. Donahue was a member of Pleasant Green M.B. Church, where she was in the choir. She was retired from the Vicksburg Warren School District and Chicago Public Schools.
She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Mount Alban Union Society No. 1 and Vicksburg Chapter No. 1 Order of Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Donahue; one sister, Alletha Plummer Stewart; and one brother, George Plummer.
Survivors include a stepson, Theodore Donahue Jr. of Chicago; two stepdaughters, Gwendolyn Donahue Hudson and Sylvia Donahue Hampton, both of Chicago; and other relatives, including Alexandria Stewart of Jackson and Maggie Brown and Delores Brown Flaggs, both of Vicksburg.
Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Carl Anthony Patterson
Services for Carl Anthony “C.A.P.” Patterson will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cool Spring M.B. Church with the Rev. Walter Eadley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon Saturday until the service at the church.
Mr. Patterson died Sunday, July 11, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. He was 50.
A resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Patterson was a 1972 graduate of Warren Central High School. He was a truck driver with the Warren County Highway Department and a member of the usher board at Gospel Temple M.B. Church. He played bass guitar with Total Experience Band.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jearlean Patterson; his father, Pinkston Patterson; a brother, James D. Patterson; his maternal grandparents, Homer and Minnie Pearl Jones; and his paternal grandparents, Matt and Rose Green Patterson.
Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Woods of Vicksburg; a son, Carl Smith of Vicksburg; a stepdaughter, Tamara Hull of Georgia; a stepson, Kenneth Washington of Kentucky; his mother, Willie Mae Jones Patterson of Vicksburg; four brothers, James Patterson, Freddie Patterson, Willie Patterson Jr. and Charles Patterson, all of Vicksburg; two sisters, Rosemary Craft and Vivian Diane Patterson, both of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends.
