Rosie Lee Williams

Rosie Lee Williams died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. She was 65.

A native of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Mrs. Williams was a longtime resident of Eagle Lake, but had lived in Vicksburg most recently. She was the head cook for the Main Lodge for Tara Wildlife Management at Eagle Lake.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Janet Oglesby; a daughter, Barbara Williams; a son, Carl Williams, and three brothers, Ronald Oglesby, Speed Oglesby and Franklin Oglesby.

She is survived by her husband, Alford L. Williams of Eagle Lake; two daughters, Shirley O. Nevels of Vicksburg and Sara L. Stiltner of Woodlawn, Ark.; a son, Steven L. Williams of Vicksburg; two sisters, Sara Jane Bryant and Bonnie L. Gafford, both of Crestview, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and other family and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg with the Rev. Bobby Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Nevels, Kennith Stiltner, Quincy Nevels, Raymond Little Jr., Kenneth Staggs and Johnny Rowland.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Outlaw, Jeff Terry, Jason Cooper and Cameron Williams.
