Fannie Lee Witherspoon

Services for Fannie Lee Witherspoon will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Witherspoon died Friday, Aug. 27, 2004, at her home. She was 96.

A resident of Vicksburg, Mrs. Witherspoon was a homemaker. She was a member of the mother board at St. Luke and Shady Grove M.B. churches.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Man Witherspoon; a son, Robert Miller; a daughter, Ruby Miller; her parents, Willie James and Francis Carter Lee; 10 brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Eddie Lee Vaughn of Vicksburg; a granddaughter, Vera L. Reddick of Vicksburg; three great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-great-grandchildren.
