Pruning to perfection

Laurie Andrijeski prunes back a few bad spots on roses Monday morning at Memorial Rose Garden on Monroe Street. Andrijeski was hired in mid-July as a Master Gardener for the City of Vicksburg landscaping department, and she works to keep up the roses and shrubs along Monroe. The garden was originally designed by Eugene Fortune and the Men’s Rose Society in 1957. (Brian LodenThe Vicksburg Post)
