Gladys Eleanor Ehrgott

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. Gladys Eleanor Ehrgott, formerly of Vicksburg, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, at Maplewood Manor in Saratoga Springs. She was 92.

A Saratoga Springs native, Mrs. Ehrgott and her husband lived in Vicksburg during the winter months for many years.

In New York she was a member and past matron of Saratoga Chapter No. 131 Order of the Eastern Star and a former associate grand marshal of the State of New York Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Ehrgott was a past grand officer of Saratoga Court 55 Order of the Amaranth and was a charter member and past president of the Saratoga County Women’s Republican Club and the city’s Republican Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur G. and Eleanor Haskins Qua; her son, John Q. Ehrgott of Vicksburg and a brother, Donald Haskins Qua.

Mrs. Ehrgott is survived by her husband, William A. Ehrgott of Saratoga Springs; her sister, Betty Papineau of Rutland, Va.; three grandchildren, John Q. Ehrgott Jr. of Vicksburg, Scot Ehrgott of Jackson and Stacy Bellinger of Flower Mount, Texas; four great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home in Saratoga Springs. Burial will follow at Greenridge Cemetery.
