Jack K. Mauldin Jr.
Jack K. Mauldin Jr. died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at River Region Medical Center. He was 45.
Mr. Mauldin was a native of Canton. He was a member of the Warren County Home Builders Association, Loyal Order of the Moose, Culkin Volunteer Fire Department and Old Whitaker Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila A. Mauldin of Vicksburg; one son, Jack K. Mauldin III of Vicksburg; one daughter, Kendra N. Mauldin of Vicksburg; his father and stepmother, Jack K. and Debra Mauldin of New Augusta; his mother and stepfather, Mary and Daniel Cunningham of Vicksburg; three sisters, Pamela Wren and Dianne Barefoot, both of Vicksburg, and Sue Allen of Canton; four stepsisters, Kristy Locke and Karen Holcomb, both of Petal, Danielle Cunningham of Memphis and Bethany Cunningham of Vicksburg; three stepbrothers, Jason Cunningham of Clinton, Ryan Irby of Petal and Jeremy Cunningham of Rockwall, Texas; one grandson; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Allen and Dr. Frank Lescallette officiating. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home and from noon Thursday until the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Guy McWilliams, Jesse Dwiggins, Jerry Birdwell, Chris Ross, Jarvis Moseley, Bobby Stewart and Joe B. Hardy.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Old Whitaker Hunting Club and Culkin Volunteer Fire Department, former employees of Mauldin Foundation, Dr. John Robert Ford, Dr. V.N. Shenoy, Dr. John P. Mazzeo, Dr. Edward Long and physicians at the Mayo Clinic.

MERIDIAN John B. Pearson Jr. died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was 75.
A former Vicksburg resident, Mr. Pearson lived in Meridian. He was a retired pilot for the Air National Guard and a member of East End United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Pearson; a son, John B. Pearson III; four daughters, Sarah Mott, Patricia Humphries, Carol Clark and Laura Ericson; a brother, Joseph Pearson; 11 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at James F. Webb Funeral Home in Meridian with the Rev. Sam Hull officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
