Clinteen Hodges Fung

ROLLING FORK Clinteen Hodges Fung died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. She was 56.

Mrs. Fung was a resident of Rolling Fork.

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Fung of Rolling Fork; a son, Arthur L. Hodges of Pearl; three brothers, Herbert McKnight of Vicksburg, Clifford Demetrius Hoggatt of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Eddie D. Douglas of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Barbara Higginbotham of Houston, Texas, and Laura McKnight of Rolling Fork; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cary Community Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Walker Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Visitation will be from 6 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Rosie Lee Nash Hedrick

PORT GIBSON Rosie Lee Nash Hedrick died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at her home in Port Gibson. She was 91.

Mrs. Hedrick was a member and mother at Second Baptist Church in Port Gibson. She was a member of the Baptist Aid, TRIAD and Community Club No. 3.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Georgia Sawyer Nash; her husband, Willie Hedrick; three brothers, Tom Nash, Reginald Nash and Willie Nash; and two sisters, Tommie Blackwell and Laura Nash.

She is survived by a son, Gerald Nash of Port Gibson; a daughter, Cheryl Nash-Jones of Jefferson City, Mo.; three grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 until 6 this evening at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and from noon Wednesday until the service at the church.

Dollie Lee Lowry

TALLULAH Dollie Lee Lowry died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at her home. She was 70.

Born in Lake City, Fla., Mrs. Lowry had lived in Tallulah for more than 30 years. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a son, Thurman L. Walters of Haughton, La.; two daughters, Julia W. Minchew of Vicksburg and Gail L. Whatley of Princeton, La.; four brothers, Travis “Buddy” Lee, Horace Lee, Franklin Lee and Lennon Lee, all of Florida; a sister, Elveston J. Chasez of Florida; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Magnuson officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery.

Visitation will be until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Renmore, Jimmy Lopez, Jake Ellis and Kyle Toney.

Honorary pallbearer will be Ralph Minchew.

Moses Moses Jr.

Services for Moses Moses Jr. will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Very Rev. John W. Morris, pastor of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight, with Trisagion prayers at 7:30, at the funeral home.

Mr. Moses died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at River Region West. He was 80.

A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, he was the son of the late Moses Sr. and Dorothy Azar Moses. He was a 1943 graduate of Carr Central High School and was an Army veteran, having served in World War II.

He owned and operated Moses Grocery for more than 50 years and had been employed with Sack and Save and Thomas Furniture. He was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moses was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Sadka; a brother, Johnny Moses; and a son, Kenny Moses.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jessie Moses of Vicksburg; a daughter, Trudy Moses of Terrytown, N.Y.; two sisters, Margaret Moses of Vicksburg and Georgette Petro of Leland; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Moses, Charles Moses, Mike Moses, Ken Mauro, James Robert Poole and Steven Haik.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Moses Sr., Dr. Anthony Petro, Dr. Steve Taylor, Dr. Walter Johnston Jr., Terry Allgood, Dewey Sadka and Bill Christian.
