Bruce E. Brown

Bruce E. Brown died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 48.

Born in Iowa, Mr. Brown had lived in Vicksburg for the past 15 years. He was a welder.

He is survived by his wife, Rosanne W. Brown of Vicksburg; two sons, Bruce Brown Jr. and Billy Brown, both of Waterloo, Iowa; three daughters, Lacy Brown of Waterloo and Casey Brown and Myia Brown, both of Monticello; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Thursday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Albert Benson, A.J. Graham, Paul Roberts, Phillip Quhn, Floyd Acuff and Curtis Anderson.

David K. Farlow

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas David K. Farlow, formerly of Vicksburg, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at Doctors Regional Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was 57.

Mr. Farlow was retired from the Army as a chief warrant officer 4 and helicopter pilot. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Born in Kokomo, Ind., he graduated from Ben Davis High School and Indiana University. He was a longtime resident of Vicksburg, where he was a member of the Vicksburg Theatre Guild.

He is survived by Darby Herborn of Corpus Christi; two sons, Adam Benjamin Farlow of London, England, and Alexander Matthew Farlow of New York; his parents, Ward Robert and Lucille Morrison Farlow of Kokomo; one sister, Janell Kay Hunter of Tipton, Ind.; one brother, Allen R. Farlow of Tipton; two grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services with full military honors were Nov. 22 at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Ind.

A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Dec. 22 at Crawford Street United Methodist Church with Walter Frazier officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:30 until the service at the church.
