ST. LOUIS, Mo. Judy Nicholson died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She was 61.

Mrs. Nicholson is survived by her husband, William Nicholson; two daughters, Deborah Wooley of Vicksburg and Sherri Patrick of Fultz, Ill.; a son, Robert Nicholson; and two grandchildren.

Services will be in St. Louis.

Kenneth Edward Roberts

TALLULAH Kenneth Edward Roberts died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 69.

Mr. Roberts was a retired truck driver and had been a Tallulah resident for 18 years.

He is survived by three sons, Edward Joe Roberts, Christopher Dale Roberts and Anthony Lynn Roberts, all of Tallulah; one daughter, Susan Gail Roberts of Tallulah; two sisters, Sallie Nichols of Eufaula, Ala., and Dorothy Gray of Wetumpka, Ala.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Forest Cemetery in Forest, La., with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be today at the funeral home until the service.

Pallbearers will be Quinton W. Adcock, Paul Junior Boykin, Jason Paul Peacock, Michael Dale Roberts, Chris Dale Roberts and Tony Lynn Roberts.

Rutesa Marshayal Smith

Rutesa Marshayal Smith, infant daughter of Ruthell Smith and Tesa T. Carter of Vicksburg, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at River Region Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Patricia Carter of Vicksburg, and her paternal grandparents, Betty Smith and Ruthell Martin, both of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.
