Rev. Willie J. Calvin

Services for the Rev. Willie J. Calvin will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at New Zion M.B. Church with the Rev. Henry Williams officiating. Burial will follow at New Zion M.B. Church Cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Service.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Williams Funeral Service chapel.

Rev. Calvin died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. He was 63.

He was a member of New Zion M.B. Church. He was a self-employed plumber.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence McCray and Sadie Calvin McCray.

Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Calvin of Greensboro, N.C.; an aunt; uncles; and other relatives and friends, including members of the Calvin, Elmore and Thomas families of Vicksburg.

KyongIm Lee

Services for KyongIm Lee will be at 10 a.m. today at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Sungho Jo and Geoffrey Joyner officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Mrs. Lee died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at her home in Natchez. She was 71.

Mrs. Lee was a native of South Korea. In 1970, she moved to Vicksburg, where she opened Lee’s Children’s Store with her husband. She had been a Natchez resident since 1973, operating The Wig Center with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Holim Lee of Natchez; a son, KyeHan Lee of New Orleans; two daughters, MiHyang Faulks of Vicksburg and Miron Salvador of Houston, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be members of the Korean-American Church.
