Kenneth Hullum Dickinson Jr.
Kenneth Hullum Dickinson Jr. died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. He was 71.
Mr. Dickinson was a native of Omaha, Neb., and had lived in Vicksburg since 1995. He graduated from Jett High School in 1951 and from Louisiana State University in 1960. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1953 and was discharged in 1958 at the rank of master sergeant. Mr. Dickinson had lived in Houston, Texas, where he was a real estate salesman and broker for 40 years.
He was a member of Hawkins United Methodist Church and was on the Board of Trustees for the Redbone United Methodist Church Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Margaret Hullum Dickinson Sr.; his wife, Eloise Parsons Dickinson; and a stepson, Troy Parsons.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Whittington Dickinson of Vicksburg; a stepson, Marty McPherson of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Renee Ahmed of Kingwood, Texas, and Becky Autrey of Caldwell, Texas; three stepdaughters, Pam Elliot of Pensacola, Fla., Perian Bennett of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Melodie McPherson of Jackson; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ann McWhirter of Austin, Texas.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Harper, pastor of Hawkins United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Redbone United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Monday until the funeral service.
Pallbearers will be Keith Paxton, Jack Parsons, Paul Ahmed, Shaun Ahmed, Danny Autrey and Cody Autrey.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Wallace Goza, Sylvester Brocato, James Buddy Harper and Dr. Daniel Edney.
Earl Burnell Jenkins
Earl Burnell Jenkins died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at his home. He was 91.
Mr. Jenkins was a native of Copiah County and moved to Vicksburg in 1935 with the Civilian Conservation Corps. He worked for 37 years as an engineering technician in the hydraulics lab at Waterways Experiment Station. He was a member of Hawkins United Methodist Church.
Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Allen and Elizabeth Strong Jenkins; four bothers and a sister.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Brown Jenkins of Vicksburg; and a sister, Alice Thompson of Northport, Ala.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Green Acres Cemetery with the Rev. John Harper, pastor of Hawkins United Methodist Church, officiating.
Visitation will be from noon until 1:30 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home.

Vona Guin Little
CHURCH HILL, Miss. Vona Guin Little died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at Natchez Community Hospital. She was 96.
Mrs. Little was born in Winn Parish, La., and later moved to Bovina. She had lived in the Church Hill Community in Jefferson County for the past 47 years, where she was a member of Church Hill Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lugenia G. Killen and Malcolm Burke Guin; her siblings; her husband, Walter Hugh Little II; a son, Charles Robert Little; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She is survived by a daughter, Vona Lugenia Wagner of Church Hill; five sons, Keith Guin Little of Church Hill and Paul Chapman Little, Walter H. Little III and Tom Warren Little, all of Shreveport, La., and Larry W. Little of Cannonsburg; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Church Hill United Methodist Church in Church Hill and at 4 p.m. at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery in Vicksburg under the direction of Laird Funeral Home of Natchez.
Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the service.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Randall Little, Robert Little, Cecil Little, Paul Little, Vince Little, Dolph Wagner, Bart Little, Warren Little, Thomas Little, John Bates and Billy Burns.
