The death of a loved one is always difficult. Whether your preference is to have a Traditional Visitation and Service, a Contemporary Gathering, a Graveside or Cremation Service, our funeral directors will help you with all of the details with compassion and skill.

Family owned is not just a slogan to us. We believe the choice to honor your loved one with a funeral or memorial service is made out of love, respect and consideration. We as a family recognize this emotion and will stay with you through the arrangement period, service and afterwards, just like family.

Most families in our community still have the Traditional Visitation and Service. The visitation is usually the night prior to the service or several hours prior to the service. The visitation is a time of friends gathering with family and recalling those events in the life of the family. This is a time to share memories and emotions with those who share in your loss. The funeral service is a more formal or religious ceremony. Our funeral directors are experienced in the formal protocol chosen by families.

Contemporary Gathering

Rather than the more formal Traditional Visitation and Service some families choose to celebrate the life of the deceased with a Contemporary Gathering. Photos and objects of reflection are placed around the room. The gathering can take place in the funeral home, a religious facility, a private home or other place of special meaning. Families choose an open or closed casket or urn in the informal gathering. The Contemporary Gathering usually replaces the service and visitation. Friends remember the life of the deceased in a very personal way with eulogies, music or videos. Our funeral directors can offer suggestions as to customizing the gathering.

Graveside service

The Graveside Service can take place after a visitation or without a visitation. The family gathers for a brief service at the place of interment with family and friends.

Cremation

There is no standard cremation service. The choice of service is personal. You may select services from a simple gathering to a more formal visitation and funeral service. You may select a direct cremation without any public service. Our funeral directors will assist you with these options and costs.
