Lillie R. Abraham
Lillie R. Abraham died Friday, March 11, 2005, at her home. She was 90.
A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Helen Mack Abraham.
Miss Abraham had been employed with Sears from October 1943 until her retirement in June 1984 with over 40 years of service and continued her association as a member of the Former Sears Employees Supper Club.
She enjoyed church work, family activities, singing and listening to music, playing canasta and traveling.
Miss Abraham was a member of the Cedars Ladies Club and the Eastern Star and was a lifelong member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, where she was active in the choir, Sunday school and Women of St. George.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Mack and Minnie Nader; brothers, Waddy Abraham, Abe Abraham and Spero Abraham; a niece, Dr. Jeanne Mack Gilley; a nephew, Jimmy Abraham; and her great-nephew, George Ronald Abraham II.
Survivors include a brother, George E. Abraham of Vicksburg, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church with the Rev. John Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home with Trisagion Prayers at 7:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Ray Wright, Albert Dornbusch, Bruce Mackay, Matt Carlson, Quentin Lovins, Stephen Griner, Jake Dornbusch, Don Mackay, Will Mackay, Dr. George E. Abraham II, Dr. Robert M. Abraham, Keith Collins, Dr. Bob Bosworth, David Lynch, Dr. George E. “Trey” Abraham III, Dave Evans, Dr. Michael Abraham, Ross Lunz, Elliott Collins, David Collins, Robert Nader, William Abraham, Jea Abraham, David Long, Shawn Abraham, Dr. Thomas Huff, Dr. Thomas Strain, Dr. Donald Gene Mack, Dr. Billy Gilley, Gregory Attrep, Craig Gibson, Ralph Morgan, Richard Thomas and members of St. George.

Catherine Mahone Miller
Catherine Mahone Miller died Friday, March 11, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. She was 70.
A member of King David M.B. Church No. 2, Mrs. Miller served as a church mother for a number of years. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Miller Jr.; her parents, Johnny Mahone and Annie Mae Mahone; and two brothers, Johnny Mahone Jr. and Freddie Mahone.
She is survived by a brother, Sylvester Mahone of Columbus, Ga.; six stepchildren; and other relatives and friends, including Robert Smith.
W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mary Mildred Miller
TALLULAH – Mary Mildred Miller died Friday, March 11, 2005, at her home in Tallulah. She was 85.
Mrs. Miller was a native of Caraway, Ark., and had lived in Madison Parish for 32 years. She was a housewife and a member of The Church at Tallulah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cary Boyce Miller Sr., and a daughter, Peggy Gregory.
Survivors include a son, Cary Boyce “Sonny” Miller Jr. of Transylvania, La.; one sister, Imogene Sullivan of Neelyville, Mo.; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Kent Fabre officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
