Vanessa Lynn Russell

Vanessa Lynn Russell died Thursday, April 7, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. She was 47.

Mrs. Lynn was a member of Bingham Memorial Baptist Church and was employed with Auto Zone Auto Parts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Russell Sr. and Annie Bell Russell; a brother, Wilbert Russell; and a sister, Ernestine Dobbins Ford.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin Lynn of Vicksburg; three sons, Taurean Demond Russell of Tallulah, Cietrich Govan Russell and Colby Smith, both of Vicksburg; one daughter, Anika La Trice Russell; a brother, James Russell Jr. of Corrigan, Texas; three sisters, Johnnie Russell of Pine Bluff, Ark., Carolyn Thomas and Sarah Russell, both of Vicksburg; two grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends including Emanuel Bland, Terry Brooks, Terry Brown, Lee Esther Combs, Ta Wanda Johnson, Lula McDaniel, the Thomas family of Vicksburg and the Martin family of Utica.

Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Nona W. Webb

Nona W. Webb died Friday, April 8, 2005, at her home. She was 88.

Mrs. Webb was born in Vernon, Texas, and had lived in Vicksburg for the past 5 1/2 years. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.P. Webb.

Survivors include her daughter, Camille Atwood of Vicksburg; a sister, Isabel Sheridan of Vernon, Texas; three grandchildren, Robert Avery Mitchell of Throckmorton, Texas, David Mitchell of Dallas, and Mimi Mitchell Jeffers of Vicksburg; and five great-grandchildren.
