Thomas Ralph Reed

TALLULAH – Thomas Ralph Reed died Thursday, June 9, 2005, at his home in Tallulah. He was 76.

Mr. Reed was a lifelong resident of Madison Parish. He retired as a supervisor for BellSouth after 32 years of service with the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert L. Reed and Nellie McGraw Woods; a sister, Josephine W. Kinard; and a brother, Robert L. “Bobby” Wood.

He is survived by a son, Thomas “Tommy” John Reed of West Monroe, La.; a daughter, Deborah Elizabeth Reed of Columbia, La.; a half-brother, William “Billy” Wood of Kaufman, Texas; a sister, Edna Elizabeth Reed of Shreveport, La.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Silver Cross Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Mitchell officiating. Services will be under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Kowitz, Daniel Reed, George W. Rogan Jr., Don Pitts, Ray Jobe and Wayne Neuroth.
