Mary Belle Kleinman Hodge

Mary Belle Kleinman Hodge died Friday, June 17, 2005, at River Region Medical Center. She was 79.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mrs. Hodge was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Nevel Hodge; her parents, William M. and Olivia M. Kleinman; two brothers, Bill Kleinman and Terry Kleinman; and a sister, Clara O. Kleinman Malueg.

Survivors include four sons, Louis K. Hodge of Dallas, Greg R. Hodge of Snyder, Texas, and Mike Hodge and John D. Hodge, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Janice M. Hodge Holifield and Mary Nevelene Hodge McKay, both of Vicksburg; a brother, Louis U. Kleinman of Homer, La.; 10 grandchildren; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at King Hall of Jehovah’s Witness with Kenneth Beard Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 until 5 p.m. Sunday at Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Terry G. Kleinman, Larry Kleinman, Michael M. Hodge, Dustin R. Holifield, Kenny Kleinman and Steve Barnett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Kleinman, Larry Vinson, Donnie Kleinman and Ronnie Kleinman.

Dr. Aaron S. King Jr.

YAZOO CITY – Dr. Aaron “Buster” S. King Jr. died Thursday, June 16, 2005, at his home in Yazoo City. He was 73.

Dr. King was a veteran of the U.S. Army and owner of Stricklin-King Funeral Home in Yazoo City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron S. King Sr. and Elizabeth Brickell King.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Prather King of Yazoo City; two sons, David King and Thomas “Tom” King, both of Yazoo City; three daughters, Jean K. Aldridge of Vicksburg, Beth K. Burnham of Sunflower and Tami D. King of Yazoo City; one sister, Elizabeth “Sis” Sanford of Yazoo City; his stepmother, Freida King of Louise; a stepsister, Kay Ketchum of Louise; two stepbrothers, Aubert King of Hattiesburg and Cambell King of Louisiana; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 this morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Yazoo City with Fr. Patrick Farrell officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Campbell King, Jimmy Shipp, Seger Collier, Aubert King, Bobby Steinreide and Bill Coleman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Paulson, Gus Ruschewski, Wiley Barbour, Frank Patty, Pat McGraw, Dr. Daniel P. Edney, Dr. Murray P. Whitaker and Jimmy Spell.
