Derotha Mason Jackson
Derotha Mason Jackson died Thursday, July 15, 2005, at her home. She was 73.
Mrs. Jackson was a native of Lormon and a member of the Pentecostal Power Church in Watersville, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her father, Percy Mason, and four brothers, Alfonso Mason, Willie Mason, Joseph Mason and Robert Oliver.
She is survived by her husband, Pearl Jackson; her mother, Atlanta Harris Mason of Lormon; five sisters, Lula Taylor of Ferriday, La., Dixie Mason and Martha Crayton, both of Lormon, Alice Foster and Cari Johnson, both of Chicago, and four brothers, Jimmy Mason of St. Joseph, La., Arthur Mason of Chicago, Nathaniel Oliver of Fayette, Miss., and Calvin Mason of Bloomington, Minn.
Williams Funeral Service has charge of arrangements.
Theresa McNeil
ROLLING FORK – Theresa McNeil died Thursday, July 14, 2005, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 49.
Born in New Orleans, Mrs. McNeil had been a resident of Rolling Fork for the past 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Omelia Kazmierczak.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Sandifer of Clinton; two sons, Leon Hays of Rolling Fork and Kenneth “Pojo” Hays of Clinton; one brother, John Kazmierczak of New Orleans; one sister, Amelia McCay of New Orleans; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Rolling Fork with the Revs. Reese Kyzar and Millard Caulder officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.
Pallbearers will be John Abney, Clark Carter, Thad Virden, Jimmy Walker, Bill Newsom and Todd Heigle.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Dick Carter, Laurence Carter, Lyle Bennett and Robert McAfee.
