Riverdale backs out of game with PCA|[9/21/05]

One day after securing a date to play a game at Riverdale, the Porters Chapel Eagles are again in limbo for Friday night.

Riverdale coach Gerald McKenzie told PCA coach Randy Wright that the school board would not agree to play the game.

Wright then contacted several schools in Tennessee and Alabama. St. Benedict’s in Cordova, Tenn., is still a slim possibility. Wright said he would make a final decision by 2 this afternoon.

PCA found itself with an open date after Rebul Academy canceled its game with the Eagles.
