Alice H. Crouse
Alice H. Crouse died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at Promise Specialty Hospital. She was 84.
Born in Carthage, Ark., Mrs. Crouse was a resident of Greensboro, N.C., for 30 years. She was a retired school teacher and accountant. She was a member of Sedgefield Presbyterian Church in Greensboro, serving as a deacon and elder of the church.
She had been a resident of Vicksburg for the past seven years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by a husband, Mac McLaurin, in 1986.
Survivors include her husband, David Crouse of Vicksburg; two sons, William McLaurin Jr. and wife, Margaret, of Kernersville, N.C., and David Crouse Jr. and wife, Rhonda, of Vicksburg; two daughters, JoAnn Ashley and husband, John, and Deborah Johnson and husband, Ray, all of Vicksburg; nine grandchildren, William McLaurin III of Kernersville, Jennifer Gray of Brandon and Jill Ashley, Kristie Massey, Jessie Crouse, Amy Nowell, Julie Crouse, Grady Bishop and Logan Bishop, all of Vicksburg; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Steve Bryant and Kuhrman Cox officiating.
Visitation will be in Ward Hall at the church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of the service.

Lillian B. Harrop
TALLULAH – Lillian B. Harrop died Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. She was 94.
Born in Turrell, Ark., Mrs. Harrop had lived in Tallulah for more than 75 years. She had worked at Morgan & Lindsey and at the Tallulah Ice House and Locker Plant, all before retiring.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tallulah and the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Harrop; a son, Dr. Robert Harrop; and a daughter, Betty H. Helton.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Shirley Harrop of Monroe; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Jean Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.
Pallbearers will be Randy Morgan, Larry Ezell, Gary Gunn, Pete Norris, Bill Yerger and Jay Pemberton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Copes, Thurman Busby, Bob Laird, Donald Neumann, Charley Hopkins, Glen Paulette, Billy Ray Arender and Dr. Leonard Neumann Jr.
