Susie Corine Ogle

Susie Corine Ogle died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Heritage House. She was 98.

Mrs. Ogle was a native of Jefferson County and had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1927. She graduated from Union Church High School in Union Church, Miss. She owned and operated Jack Ogle general merchandise store. She worked as a postmaster for the United States Post Office for 31 years. She was a member of Yokena Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ogle; her parents, Perlie Robert and Carrie Humphreys Smith; four brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Dee Short of Alburquerque, N.M., and Patricia Ogle Greco of Houston; one sister, Pearlie Case of Natchez; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
